The Freight Intelligent Transportation System (FITS) use artificial intelligence in conjunction with video and data analytics to estimate freight wait times and build predictive models for road closures at rail crossings. Alongside this, the information gathered will also be utilized to build tailored dashboards for customs border security and port cargo tracking.
Our Work
ETG, as a member of a project team, assisted Alameda CTC with the Port of Oakland System Integration and Application Development Services for the FITS. As part of a project team, ETG assisted with system engineering documents, including the requirements traceability matrix, Oakland Portal system acceptance test Plan, public website system acceptance test plan, Advanced Traffic Management System (ATMS) procurement plan, ATMS verification plan and testing, mobile app verification plan and testing, smart parking verification plan and testing, and installation interface integration cutover plan.
